Call for participants: Art is an International Language

Căutăm 5 participanţi pentru a participa la un schimb de tineri în oraşul medieval Veliko Tarnovo, situat în nordul Bulgariei, la numai 160 km de Bucureşti. Pentru a participa e nevoie să realizaţi cel puţin 2 activităţi de voluntariat înainte şi după proiect, în cadrul Asociaţiei SUPER TINERI (ASIRYS). Aceste activităţi vor fi stabilite de comun acord. Dacă doriţi să fiţi în echipa de proiect, vă rugăm să ne trimiteţi 2 propuneri de activităţi de voluntariat (online/offline) pe adresa voluntarasirys@gmail.com (până la data de 25 octombrie 2014) şi să completaţi acest chestionar: 


Asociaţia noastră nu percepe taxe de participare, iar costurile de cazare, masă, activitate şi transport sunt suportate 100% (transportul în limita a 80 de euro/persoană). Costurile de transport trebuie înaintate de participanţi, ulterior fiind decontate de organizaţia gazdă. Mai jos găsiţi mai multe informaţii despre proiect.

We will be happy to meet you in Youth Exchange “Art is an International Language” Project. The project wıll take place in Veliko Tarnovo, between the 14-21 November 2014 with 32 participants from 5 countries - Czech Republic, Romania, Poland, Bulgaria and Turkey. We will use non formal education learning in the activities and get to know each other’s cultures.
 

Art Is An International Language project aims to show people how important is art and how it can help people communicate with each other, get to know each other and find new friends with similar interests.
Art inspires people to share and be together. It has no limits, borders or barriers, it can gather different people, cultures, nationalities, no matter what language they talk.


The project includes 32 participants of 5 countries - Bulgaria, Turkey, Czech Republic, Poland and Romania. Each country will have 6 participants, only Bulgaria will have 8. All of
them will be youngsters with fewer opportunities aged from 18 to 30, only the 5 group leaders from each country will have no age limit. All participants will have interests in different arts, but without having professional skills or experience.
The project will be held between 14-21 November 2014 at Veliko Tarnovo city, Bulgaria. 


During it participants will have several non-formal education activities and the opportunity to get to know different cultures. They will prepare and perform an art flashmob event in the center of the city. The event aims to make a lot of people think about the importance of art and how it can gather different people and cultures.


WHAT LANGUAGE WILL WE USE
The official language of the exchange will be English.

During the Youth Exchange we are planning to arrange Intercultural Evening for each country. You will present your own cultures – national, regional, personal or any kind of
culture you feel represents you! These presentations should be interactive. It should not be a “lecture” but should be done in a creative way. You can see when is the evening of your
country in the daily programme. 


This means that all options are possible. A culture may be presented by a song, a game, a story, a poem, a dance, Power Point, video, some typical drinks or food, etc. You may bring
pictures, music or anything which you consider to be helpful to present your culture. There will be a computer and data projector available. 


COSTS
Programme costs will be provided and paid 100% by the grant from the Bulgarian National Agency. We recommend you to bring money for drinks, presents, etc.
We have a budget for travel costs. According to the restrictions of the Erasmus+ Programme we will refund 100% of the travel cost if the following points are fulfilled:


Your travel route is from your home town to the venue in Bulgaria (Veliko Tarnova) and back.
 You have chosen reasonable and economical means of transportation (e.g. student discounts, 2. and economy class, low-cost airlines, etc.)
 Your travel dates are according to the programme (one day before the beginning and one day after the end are O.K.)
 You have a receipt or invoice for the cost of your plane ticket, your boarding passes and the local bus/train tickets.
 !!!!!!!!!!!!!TAXI IS NOT ACCEPTABLE COST TAKE IN MIND !!!!!


HOW TO COME TO VELİKO TARNOVO
PLEASE DO NOT BUY YOUR TICKETS BEFORE OUR CONFIRMATION. 

The exchange will take place in Veliko Tarnovo. The arrival day is the 14 of November (Local time) and the departure day will be the 21 of November, 2014.
We will inform you about hotel very soon.
• 2-4 participants from dıfferent natıonalıtıes will share the rooms.
• There is a bathroom/shower in each room.
• Breakfast, lunch and dinner will happen generally at the hotel during the whole project. 


WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU
Clothes: please bring comfortable and sports clothes that will be suitable for the sportive activities that involve a lot of movement. Please also bring comfortable/sports shoes as we
may walk to the nearby places. And take in mınd than November can be cold in Veliko Tarnovo.


PARTICIPANTS AND PREPARATION OF THE GROUPS
 Each country will select 5 participants from 18 up to 30 years old + 1 group leader (no age limit).

After the selection of participants, every participant should fill in the participant form and send it to us as soon as possible.
 We will NOT have Health/Travel Insurance for the participants, so we suggest you make your own one if you want. 


TRAVEL BUDGET
According to the rules of the Erasmus+ Programme and the budget that was agreed on with the Bulgarian National Agency, here is the maximum amount that each group can use for the travel to Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria, and back (100% round trip per person)


For Romania the budget is 80 euro/person. 

WE WILL TRANSFER YOUR TRAVEL COST MONEY IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE PROJECT WHEN WE RECEIVE ALL YOUR TICKETS, INVOICES, ETC. TICKETS MUST BE BOUGHT EARLIER THAN 1 NOVEMBER 2014.
